Zoe has a passion for
puzzles and patterns...
Zoe completed her physiotherapy degree at the University of South Australia, graduating in 2012. Since then she has slowly been working her way back to Hobart, working in private practices across Adelaide and Melbourne, before landing back on the Apple Isle. During this time she has learned many new skills from the various clinics she has worked in. This has included a strong focus on Clinical Pilates.
Zoe has a real passion for puzzling out the details of your injury and finding the patterns. Patterns are key – they tell us what your body likes and doesn’t like, which makes working out a treatment strategy with you so much easier.
Don’t be surprised to find yourself on the Pilates equipment, or face down on the treatment bed, half asleep, while being needled (it can actually be very relaxing!). And as always, Zoe’s aim is to have you walking out the door feeling better, and remaining better over the coming days and weeks.
Zoe likes and works well with a wide variety of clientele and presentations, anything from sports injuries to chronic pain. Her particular areas of interest are:
- Spinal pain (neck, upper back or lower back)
- Pain spreading down arm or leg (sometimes called sciatica)
- Shoulder pain
- Long term niggles/pain
- Women’s health
Outside of work Zoe has a little daughter who occupies most of her time. But she manages to squeeze in some time for herself in the garden, dressmaking, knitting, swimming, and the odd weekend hike.
